This prestigious distinction places us in the top 4% of companies assessed by EcoVadis in our sector over the past twelve months. More than a simple recognition, this medal demonstrates our constant commitment towards more responsible and sustainable packaging.
Continuous progress since 2013
Bong obtained its first EcoVadis silver medal in 2013 and has remained a gold medallist since 2016. Each year, our score progresses. In 2025, our score increased from 74 to 79 points out of 100, demonstrating that our continuous improvement efforts are bearing fruit. This progress reflects the commitment of all our teams to make Bong a responsible packaging player in France.

EcoVadis: a rigorous and transparent assessment
An internationally recognised methodology
The EcoVadis assessment includes a rating and comparative analysis of a company’s CSR performance relative to its sector on a scale from 0 to 100.
It is based on a rigorous methodology that analyses 21 CSR issues distributed across 4 fundamental themes. The 21 issues or criteria are drawn from international CSR standards, such as the Global Compact principles.

A demanding assessment process
Each assessed company must complete a personalised questionnaire, adapted to the specific CSR risks of its sector, size and location. Each response must be supported by documentary evidence examined by EcoVadis expert analysts.
The assessment measures, for each theme, the quality of a company’s CSR management system by examining its management indicators:

Statements, policies, objectives, governance, membership in external CSR initiatives
Actions
Implementation of measures, certifications and labels, deployment of concrete actions
Results
Reports on key performance indicators and comprehensive analysis

This assessment highlights our current strengths whilst identifying areas for improvement to continue our continuous improvement approach. This approach helps us constantly adjust our CSR strategy to respond to tomorrow’s environmental and societal challenges.
Our commitment is long-term: every year we move forward, showing that CSR is not a box-ticking exercise but a core part of how we operate.
